How we're different
QK was custom-built from the ground up as a professional canine care facility — not a converted warehouse, not a noisy storefront, not a corporate kennel model. Every detail was planned around the safety, health, comfort, and mental stability of dogs.
This is not casual pet sitting. This is professional canine care.
What makes QK different
Most boarding facilities provide a place for a dog to stay. QK was built to provide a better standard. For more than 25 years, Jennifer Broome has refined QK into a campus rooted in structure, wellness, safety, cleanliness, and respect for the dog as an animal.
01
Noise, crowding, and chaotic handling all affect dogs. At QK, the environment itself supports calm: rural setting, proper flooring and ventilation, climate control, predictable routines, and trained staff. Calm doesn't happen by accident — we built for it.
02
Sanitation is built into the facility and the operating system. Epoxy floors, commercial dish sanitizers, vet-grade cleaners, structured cleaning protocols, and daily inspections protect every dog in our care. Small details, big outcomes.
03
Experienced handlers can see what dogs can't say. QK's systems have helped identify tick-borne illness, urinary issues, blockages, and digestive trouble in dogs who arrived already unwell. Observation, documentation, action — not panic, not guesswork.

Founder
QK Dogs was dreamed, designed, and built by Jennifer Broome after decades of living and working with dogs. She didn't set out to create another boarding kennel — she built the kind of place she believed dogs deserved.
Safety before convenience. Cleanliness before shortcuts. Structure before chaos. Observation before assumption.
Many facilities try to copy pieces of what we do. But the depth of QK isn't in any one service — it's in the system behind every service. More than 25 years in the making.
The team behind every stay
QK is led by a trained, full-time core of canine care professionals — supported by seasonal team members who return year after year because they believe in our standard.
"12,000 steps by 10 a.m."
Our motto. Because real boarding care is active, observant, and deeply committed to each dog's health, happiness, and wellness.
The QK Standard Includes
Twelve operating standards behind every stay. Not marketing claims — daily practice.
Optional
Add targeted enrichment and wellness services to tailor the stay around comfort, activity, recovery, and engagement.
No guilt. No worry. Just the quiet confidence of knowing your dog spent the week in expert hands — and the wagging welcome that proves it.
